Whatever
else you serve is entirely up to you – I opted for sprouts and
cauliflower cheese – you can never have enough veggies.
I
was tempted to serve “parrots” too – a firm favourite in our
house - that's a combination of parsnips and carrots mashed, with a
generous knob of butter and loads of black pepper – but since I'd
already decided on the roast parsnips drizzled with maple syrup I
thought I may have gone over the top – just a smidge!
